Services and Rates


Animal stars offers a variety of dog training services to suit everyone – from those needing their dog’s problems understood and solved, basic dog obedience training to Star (trick) Training.

PRIVATE LESSONS

Private lessons include one-on-one dog training with Sue Thompson so you receive the most information and training she can impart.  These run for one hour per session in our air-conditioned indoor training area on week-days.

Cost $90 for the first lesson which is up to 2 hours and then subsequent lessons $75 up to 1.5 hours.

BOARD & TRAIN

Have your dog trained at Animal Stars with a 10 day training course.  Your dog will receive 2 to 3 training sessions per day which includes meals and board.  We only take up to 2 dogs at a time, so you can be sure that your dog is receiving our undivided attention.

Training is specific to the needs of you and your dog, and all dogs leave us with a good knowledge of all basic obedience and often more.  Your dog will also have been on outings to test his training when faced with environmental distractions.

On completing the course, you will receive an extended 1.5 hour lesson to show you how to manage your newly trained dog, as well as a written report.  

Cost $88 per day. A discount is offered if you have more than one dog. 

HOUSE CALLS

Dog training at your house is available and cost is relative to your location - please call for a quote.
